US Military Aircraft Detected Over Cabo San Lucas

The Secretariat of National Defense of Mexico reported that on Monday, February 3, an aircraft belonging to the United States Air Force was detected flying over international waters southwest of Cabo San Lucas, Baja California.

The detection of the aircraft was carried out by the Mazatlán Air Control Center at 1:41 PM, which later alerted the Mexican National Center for Airspace Surveillance and Protection (CENAVI). Information about the American aircraft's overflight was disseminated through the Flight Radar24 platform, a service that monitors aircraft flights in real-time.

During the morning conference from the National Palace, President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo commented on the situation, categorizing the event as normal, as the aircraft was flying in international airspace and had no relation to pre-established agreements. Sheinbaum emphasized the importance of health as a fundamental right, not as a commodity.
